Bubania Village on bush road to Sokurella from Kurobonla - March 1970

The lower picture shows the entryway into the small village of Bubania - a village halfway along the bush road from Kurobonla to Sokurella. 1970. Note the bush road on the right. The peculiar shaped building on the left was probably used for storage of grains. This structure is seen in the top photo, viewed from the opposite side. The bush road surrounding Bubania was flat - and the weather was quite hot. I remember there being very little in the way of air movement and a very hot sun as we passed through this area on the way up the mountain. However, except for the heat, it was easy going in this area, as the ups and downs were not physically demanding.
