Russian Truck in Kono



I came across this Russian truck in Kono, a town to our north but in the Eastern Province. This vehicle may actually have come across the border from Guinea, where in those days the Socialist leader, Sekou Turey had aligned Guinea with the then Soviet block nations. In this photo a lorry boy poses with the truck. Taken in 1969
