This site is a continuation of my site entitled Sierra Leone II 1968-70 [http://sierraleone1968-70.blogspot.com/] . In Sierra Leone I (this site) are additional photographs that I took while a Peace Corps volunteer in Sierra Leone. My Peace Corps post was at the Holy Rosary Secondary School and Teacher's Training College in Kenema in the Eastern Province of Sierra Leone. My wife and I were the only lay teachers there at that time. Many of the photographs both in this site and the earlier Sierra Leone II site were given to the people that allowed me to take their picture. It is now 38 years since we lived there, but my memories of the people I met, of our students, and of the many places I visited in my wanderings are still vivid. All pictures are my own and can not be used or copied without my permission.
