Pa Massaquoi (of Bo)

As I remember it this man worked on the school compound when HRSS began to expand in early 1970.  There was a group that the Sisters hired - I think they came mostly from the Bo area.  When these construction men got wind of my dark room and that I might take their picture - one by one I got requests and I believe this was one of a number of such photos that I did.  The men stayed locally in Kenema while working on construction, usually their families were far away.  Pa Massaquoi was a devout Muslim - here he is dressed in his robes.  This photo was taken in the early part of 1970 at the school compound.
