Joseph with an Orange - August 1968

During our second month of training (August 1968) we continued our language training at Njala University Agricultural College and also learned about the agriculture of Sierra Leone. Our Sierra Leone language instructors (they taught us Krio) took us on local walks to nearby villages to talk with local people and practice our language skills. One day this young boy followed us on our walk and here he holds an orange from one of the orange groves at Njala.
