View to the Summit of Bintumani

This photo was taken from our base camp of the summit of Bintumani. It was here at the base camp that we pitched our tent, and from this plateau that we made a number of hikes up to the summit at various times of the day. The air was cool, and it was on this plateau that one evening I met David Kpaka, a man who was collecting insects for The Forest Industries, and who it turned out lived in Kenema where I was stationed.
