Sokurella is situated at the base of Mt. Bintumani in the Loma Mountains - the highest mountains in West Africa outside of Mt Cameroon. These Bondo initiates walked about the village at the end of their initiation which was about to take place. I am told that the young woman on the right still lives in the village and has seen a picture that I took of her (which is also in this blog - see below).
