Moiyatu lived across from us on Dama Road. During our second year she became a Bondo initiate. Living with the head of the area Bondo Society - Mama Hokey, Moiyatu seemed to have a special position as it was my impression that she was to some degree being groomed by Mama Hokey for future leadership. Of this I may have been wrong. In this photo she is about 12 or 13.
