On my second trip to Kuranko country and to the Loma Mountains and Bintumani I went with fellow Peace Corps volunteer Lloyd Ziegler, pictured here with our guide (red shirt) in the forest above the Kuranko village of Sokurella as we headed up to the summit. Below in Sokurella it had been very hot and humid, but up here in the forest the temperature dropped by as much as 10 - 15 degrees. Photo © by Chad Finer
